[1] The court below's dismissal of rape charges filed by the victim within the statutory period under the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes and Protection of the Victims, on the ground that the rape charges were filed after expiration of the statute of limitation under the Criminal Act, is reversed, for errors in the misapplication of law regarding the statute of limitation for sexual crimes.
